Join The Running Griffin at the Cape Cod Marathon!

CCM-logo-2017

A few years ago I swore off ever running two marathons in the same year. But like most runners, there is something not wired right in the mind of The Running Griffin so in 2017 it will be another two marathon year! In addition to running the Cleveland Marathon in May, I will be heading to Falmouth, Massachusetts in October for the Cape Cod Marathon!

This year will be the 40th running of the Cape Cod Marathon, the 25th year for the Marathon Relay and the 7th year for the Half-Marathon. I have participated in the Marathon Relay in the past with the Thirsty Irish Runners and can attest to this being a race you will not want to miss.

The Cape Cod Marathon race organizers pride themselves on going the extra mile for their runners and give tremendous personal service from start to finish on an absolutely beautiful race course. The beauty of Cape Cod will be on display this fall as runners toe the starting line and run 26.2 miles toward the finish.

Organized by the Falmouth Track Club, the Cape Cod Marathon generates significant charitable donations back to a variety of local charities and runners can feel good when registering for this race that they will be supporting so many good causes.
